Replication Group Name

This field identifies the Replication Group name which is used to identify the Group throughout Replicator.

You cannot change the name of a Replication Group after using it with a Map Family.

Replication Connections

This section displays the available Replication Connections, and the Selected Replication Connections. Using the >> arrows you can select an available replication connection, moving it into the Selected Replication Connections box. You can use the << arrows to deselect a selected replication connection.

The headings Available Replication Connections and Selected Replication Connections, once clicked, will sort the connection names in the list alphabetically.

Replication Map Families

The Replication Map Families section lists all map family names, their scope and their Root Replication Map URL.

Manage Replication Connections

This page lists the configured Replication Connections and provides links that allow you to add, modify, or delete Replication Connections.

Refer to the following table for information on the Manage Replication Connections screen.

Parameter

Description

Web Application

Select which Web Application is being configured.

To change the Web Application, click the field and select another Web Application from the list.

Connection

Displays the Replication Connection name and links to the Configure Replication Connection page.
 

Note: that the check box prior to the connection name indicates whether replication attempts have been paused due to packages with errors.

Target

Displays the URL address of the Connection.

The address may be longer than the space allowed, and the field might need to be enlarged to view the whole address.

Priority

This is the priority that has been assigned to the replication connection.

Transport

This is the transport method used by the replication connection.

Compression

This is the compression method used by the replication connection.

Replication Groups

Indicates which Replication Group this Connection belongs to.

Package Processing

Indicates whether or not Replication Events are captured for Package transfer. If disabled, Events are not packaged for Outbound Processing.

Indicates whether or not Inbound Packages are accepted.
If disabled, Inbound Packages will not be accepted through this Connection.

Conflict Setting

Indicates how this connection handles inbound conflicts.

Status Message

Provides a time stamp of when attempts at replicating packages with an error were paused.

Click Add Connection in order to configure a new Replication Connection. Select a Connection from the Connection list to edit its values. In both cases, the Configure Replication Connection page opens.

Select one or more Connections from the list and click Remove Selected Connections to delete connections.

If you delete a connection that is used in an existing map family and the map family includes customizations for that connection, then those customizations will be lost when you delete the connection. If you recreate the connection at a later time, then it will be created and added to any relevant map families using the default settings. Any additional customizations must be made after recreating the connection.
