Alarms Displayed in the Database Properties Panel

The alarm below is invoked in regards to the Database Properties panel under the Properties drilldown.

Database Property Changed

The Database Property Changed alarm is invoked to notify a change in the value of any of the properties displayed on the Properties > Database Properties panel > Database Properties List table. Any change notified by this alarm is also displayed on the Database Properties List table, which shows the current value compared with the last run’s value, and indicates the last change’s date.

Alarms Resolved via the Cost Configuration Administration Screen

Several alarms can be investigated via the Global Administration > Cost Configuration screen, as described in the following :

Cost Changed on page 79

Cost Was Not Set

The Cost Was Not Set alarm becomes active when one or more of the following parameters, defined via the Cost Configuration screen, is not yet set:
•
Storage price—the price, per GB, of space usage
•
Outgoing price—the price, per GB, of bandwidth usage for outgoing data (namely, data sent from the database)
•
Incoming price—the price, per GB, of bandwidth usage for incoming data (namely, data arriving to the database)
To handle the Cost Was Not Set alarm:

Go to the Databases > Databases dashboard.

From the Databases table, select the agent or agents for which the alarm was invoked.

Click the button at the top of the screen.

Go to the Cost Configuration screen.

Select the agent from the table.

Click Edit.

Use the Set Cost Configuration dialog box that opens now to set the required parameters.

Click Set.
