How to delete an organization in ODM

Users may need to delete an organization from the On Demand Migration (ODM) tool for various reasons, such as organizational restructuring, redundancy, project completion, or data cleanup. However, the deletion process removes all tenant and user-related information associated with the organization, which can have significant implications. Therefore, it is essential to understand the steps involved and the irreversible nature of this action to avoid unintentional data loss.

To delete an organization in the ODM tool, follow these steps:

 

1. Sign In:
   • Log in to the ODM portal.
2. Select Organization:
   • Choose the organization you wish to delete.
3. Access Edit Organization Page:
   • Click your email address at the top right-hand corner of the page.
   • Click the organization name to open the Edit Organization page.
4. Initiate Deletion:
   • Click the "Delete Organization" button. A confirmation page will appear.
5. Confirm Deletion:
   • Select the following check boxes to acknowledge the impact of deleting the organization:
     • All tenants will be removed.
     • All user information will be lost.
6. Complete Deletion:
   • Click the "Delete Organization" button.

**Important Note

Irreversible Action: Deleting an organization cannot be undone. Please consider all requirements and potential impacts before proceeding with the deletion.
