A Windows FglAM on Foglight 6.3 and higher can encounter an error like the following when attempting to create a log file for an agent that contains unicode characters in the agent name as below. This issue can occur with any agent type (e.g. Infrastructure, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
ERROR [FglAM:IncomingMessage[5]-96] com.quest.common.io.NativeFile - Could not obtain native file information from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Quest\Foglight Agent Manager\state\default\logs\fb8be857-fbcf-4747-973d-295a8570e581\DB_SQL_Server\7.1.0.10\DB_SQL_Server\英語_2023-11-08_163324_001.log java.io.IOException: Could not retrieve attributes for : The system cannot find the path specified.Workaround 1
Use a Linux based Foglight Agent Manager for agent named that are in Unicode

Do not included unicode characters in agent names when using Windows based Foglight Agent Managers.

Resolution
Defect ID FOG-7541 has been logged for this issue and has been fixed in the 7.3.0 release of the Foglight Agent Manager.
