How to enable debug logging and export logs? -
Description
Steps required to enable debug logging and export logs from Enterprise Reporter. -
Resolution
To enable debug logging follow the steps below:
1- Open Configuration Manager console.
2- Go to Manage Discovery Clusters.
3- Go to Cluster Details tab and on the bottom right side of the screen change Node logging level to Debug.
To export logs follow the steps below:
1- In the Configuration Manager console, go to Manage Discoveries.
2- On the upper right side of the screen click Manage logs.
3- Click on Export Logs.
4- Select all clusters, or the cluster from which you need to export logs.
5- Once the export is complete, you may click on the hyperlink to view the exported logs.
Or, go to C:\ProgramData\Quest\Enterprise_Reporter\Exported_Logs. The exported log folder should be named after the date in which the logs were exported.
