Error during AD discovery: "A local error has occurred."
Description
The below error may occur at the end of an Active Directory discovery:
"A local error has occurred."
Resolution
If the target domain is across a WAN link, consider creating a new cluster and deploying a new node in that domain. If the node is not near the SQL Server, configure the cluster to use a shared data location. This will ensure a more efficient discovery of data.
