Diagnostic Manager requests to re-enter license periodically -
Description
Some users may experience an issue while trying to use Diagnostic Manager. While opening the tool every so often, you receive a prompt to reactivate the license even when you have activate it in the past -
Cause
This issue is caused when there is a previous installation of Metalogix Diagnostic Manager and an old entry of the Licensed Servers on the Repository Database contradicts what Metalogix Diagnostic Manager sees when launching -
Resolution
To resolve this issue, please follow this steps:
1) Delete the row with the old server from the dbo.MetalogixLicenseInfo table
2) Restart the Metalogix Diagnostic Manager Collection Service in Windows Services
3) Open the Diagnostic Manager console and re-activate the license. This will add a row to the table with the correct server information.
This will put in the current server and license information into that table and will stop the prompt for Activation.
