Changing Default IIS Settings for Sensitive Content Manager Sites
Description
With few exceptions, Sensitive Content Manager inherits the settings for its IIS Sites from the root level of the machine on which these sites exist. Can these settings be changed to support security hardening without impacting the accuracy of scans?
Resolution
- The "Default Document" Module options can all be removed for all SCM IIS Sites.
- The "Directory Browsing" options can be disabled for all SCM IIS Sites.
Please contact Quest support for guidance on any further changes at the IIS Site level.
