Cached data option grayed out after running discovery (4272758)

After discovery completes, the following reports still display the "Requires Discovery" alert and cannot be selected:

• Site Collection Activity Analysis
• Site Collection Storage Analysis
• Trend Analysis for Storage
• Trend Analysis for Activity
• Trend Analysis for Site Count

The "DiscoveryEnabled" parameter is set to false. This will block discovery-related reports from being run, even if the ControlPoint Service Database contains cached data.

1. Open the ControlPoint Configuration Site (e.g. http://servername:1818).
2. Select the ControlPoint Settings List and expand the "Discovery Performance" category.

   

3. Change the value of the "DiscoveryEnabled" parameter from False to True.

   

4. Recycle the ControlPoint Application Pool in IIS Manager.
