SQL error: “Autogrow of file ‘ChangeAuditor’ in database ‘ChangeAuditor’ was cancelled by user or timed out after 30121 milliseconds.”
Description
SQL error in relation to the Change Auditor database and the Coordinator is no longer processing events:
“Autogrow of file ‘ChangeAuditor’ in database ‘ChangeAuditor’ was cancelled by user or timed out after 30121 milliseconds.”
Resolution
This error is coming from the SQL server and indicates that the DB size cannot be increased quickly enough based on the current autogrowth setting and/or due to disk I/O. Manually increase the size of the DB and consider lowering the autogrowth size limit to a number the disk I/O can handle.
Please Note: The DB should be manually increased to a size that takes into account the amount of expected growth over time. The autogrowth feature is generally only intended to act as an insurance policy against unexpected growth periods.
