Description
Fatal error was encountered while connecting to AzureAD.
The following error was observed in the ADC.wlog:
FATAL ADCService - {{adxxxxxx-14f7-xxxx-b2c3-xxxxxxxxx81a}} Fatal error in Synchronize()System.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.Parameter name: LoginDomain Id cannot be lessthan or equal 0....---> (Inner Exception #0) System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null.Parameter name: LoginDomain Id cannot be lessthan or equal 0. -
Cause
Some of the on-premise groups may have the same names with Office 365 and the LoginDomainID has a value of NULL. -
Resolution
1. In Archive Manager Configuration Console | Advanced Settings, add the below:Config Key - Directory Connector Archive From On Premises If Object Conflict With O365Value - True
2. Apply to save the change.
3. Stop the Archive Manager Active Directory Connector Service.
4. Browse to the Logs folder and archive existing ADC.wlog, ADC.1.wlog, etc.
5. Browse to following path and archive existing PowerShell execution logs:C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Microsoft\AzureAD\PowerShell
6. Start the Archive Manager Active Directory Conector Service.
7. Give the service some time to complete its run, then review latest ADC.wlog to see if the error goes away.
Should the error persists:1. Run the following in SQL Server Management Studio:Use ArchiveManagerSelect * from [group] where LoginDomainID is NULL2. Save the results as .csv file.
3. Zip and send in the following for further investigations:- Latest ADC log(s)
- Latest PowerShell execution logs
- Results.csv
