DEP is a security feature built into Microsoft operating systems that prevents an application or service from executing code from a non-executable memory region. DEP will somtimes terminate Archive Manager threads from being spawned including the FTIAttachmentWorker.exe and iFilterHost.exe as these are secondary threads spawned by the Archive Manager Full Text Index Service.exe.
