In Toad Data Point 6.3 Subscription edition, the AI Ask feature has been introduced in preview mode. Learn more about AI and Toad at Toad World.
To enable AI Ask in Toad Workbook, follow these steps:
- Verify Toad Data Point version and edition:
- Open Toad Workbook or Toad Data Point
- Go to the Help menu and select About to check your Toad version and edition
- Ensure you are using the subscription edition and version that supports AI Ask (such as Toad Tada Point Subscription 6.3)
- Opt-in for the Preview Feature:
- You need to opt-in to participate in the preview feature
- Contact your license administrator for an email notification regarding feature activation or contact Quest product team at ToadBetaTeam@groups.quest.com
- Confirm Participation:
- Respond to the email notification confirming your agreement to participate in the preview feature
- Enable the Feature:
- After confirming your participation, you will receive a second email with instructions on how to enable the AI Ask feature using the online License Portal
- Follow the instructions in the email to enable the feature. See the KB article for details.
- Activate in Toad Workbook:
- Once the feature is enabled through the License Portal, you will receive an email about granted access to AI Ask
- To start using the feature, click Refresh in Help | Licensing in Toad, and you can start using the feature
