Spotlight on Analysis Services Home Page

Note: This feature is not available for SQL Server Analysis Services 2000.

The Spotlight on Analysis Services home page provides a quick and intuitive view of the activity of an Analysis Services server.

To see the Spotlight Home Page

1. Select a Spotlight on Analysis Services connection from the Spotlight browser.

2. Click Monitor | Home.

   

To see a description of each item on the home page, hover the mouse over a statistic until the description is displayed.

Note: If the Spotlight Diagnostic Server is unable to collect the data required for the home page or drilldowns, Spotlight displays a small icon on the affected component, chart or grid. Click the icon to see more information about the problem.
