Define the files (usually log files) in your Windows system for Spotlight to track the growth of. Spotlight reports an alarm when a file approaches the maximum file size you have set.
To define files to monitor in Windows Files Metrics:
Define the file to monitor

Define the maximum allowed file size. Note: This does NOT prevent the file growing beyond the maximum defined size. However, if the file exceeds the size defined here then Spotlight raises a critical alarm. |
