Spotlight on SQL Server 9.5.2 - Getting Started Guide

The Activity drilldown provides resource usage and activity information for open connections and sessions, and for commands currently executing or last executed on the Analysis Services server.

To see the Activity drilldown

Select a Spotlight on Analysis Services connection from the Spotlight browser.
Click Monitor | Activity.

Open connections on the server Connections page

Connections grid

Provides resource usage and activity information for current connections on the server.

Open sessions on the server Sessions page

Sessions grid

Provides resource usage and activity information for current sessions on the server.

Commands that are currently executing or last executed
Commands page

Note: This feature requires SQL Server Analysis Services 2008 or later.

Note: All times shown in the grids of the Activity drilldown are displayed as Greenwich mean time (GMT).
