Trying to set up the database connection using the connection manager on SQL Optimizer for Oracle, got the Invalid Home Name: (Oracle Root) error. -
原因
This error appears when the Oracle client installed is not detected. The reasons can be any of the following:
1. Oracle client is not installed.
2. Oracle client bitness does not match with SQL Optimizer for Oracle bitness
3. Oracle client installed is not supported by SQL Optimizer for Oracle. -
解决办法
Check the Oracle client installation and bitness to match the software installed. Also, try to install a fresh Oracle client. Review the release notes to check system requirements.
