Get "Unable to validate license" entering a valid key with Advanced Tuning add on -

When entering a valid commercial license key in SQL Optimizer for DB2 z/OS, the following message is returned. The license key is a Toad for DB2 z/OS base license with an Advanced Tuning add on.
"Unable to validate license. Either this license has expired or the maximum number of trial keys has been used. Please contact a Quest sales representative to purchase the full version of Quest SQL Optimizer for IBM DB2 z/OS or get a trial extension." -
原因
There is a defect in SQL Optimizer for DB2 z/OS 5.0 that will not allow it to accept a Toad for DB2 z/OS base license key with Adavanced Tuning add on. It will only take Toad for DB2 z/OS Xpert license keys. -
解决办法
WORKAROUND #1:
Upgrade to SQL Optimizer for DB2 z/OS 5.5, which can be downloaded here.
WORKAROUND #2:
Have the Toad for DB2 z/OS base license key with Adavanced Tuning add on changed to a Toad for DB2 z/OS Xpert license key. This would need to be done through our licensing department, which you can contact here.
