When View | Preferences menu is accessed, an error 'Not Connected' is shown, if not connected to a Database. -
原因
Product Defect - SQLNAV-2463
SQL Navigator is checking the database version to enable/disable the use Editionable or Non-Editionable key words to the check box in the Preferences menu tree to the Extract DLL feature.
It shows the 'Not Connected' message when a user is not connected to the database.
SQL Navigator supports older version of Oracle databases as well, and these key words are introduced from 12c onwards and not available on below 12c oracle versions. This is newly implemented in Navigator 8.0. The application needs to check the database version to enable or disable the use Editionable or Non-Editionable controls in the UI. -
解决办法
WORKAROUND:
Access View | Preferences when connected to a Database.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of SQL Navigator.
