Spotlight remains in Connecting state and it does not connect -

When I try to establish connection between Spotlight and the database server, the status of Spotlight remains Connecting and it does not connect to the server.
The database user has been correctly created and its working just fine; the problem is only with the OS connection to collect SO data from the AIX 5.3 machine.
With Monitor OS enabled, the connection remains in the Connecting state -
原因
SoU 6.1 has a problem connecting to AIX 5.3 with a patch level of ML 7 or greater

WORKAROUND
1. Exit Spotlight
2. Within Windows Explorer, go to folder: C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Spotlight\Plug-ins\DatasourceUNIX
3. Edit the file ScriptConfig.ini
4. Specify to use shell for the necessary servers. You can either add lines like:
[<Enter hostname or IP>]
SUA_PERL_BIN=/dev/null
i.e. 1 pair of lines for each server connected to, where the server name matches the address used in the profile. Or you can switch back to shell for all connections:
[ALL]
SUA_PERL_BIN=/dev/null
5. Retry Spotlight

This will be fixed in version 7.0.
