Spotlight on Oracle has problems accessing Linux OS (Operating System) when using SSH connection. (4324346)

When connecting Spotlight on Oracle to a database and setting the connection details to connect to the Operating System of a Linux computer, it does not show any OS details. The connection is being made via an ssh connection where Public/Private keys are required to be entered to gain access.

At a dos command prompt on the desktop where Spotlight on Oracle is installed run the following command a couple of times from the .\Spotlight\Plug-ins\DatasourceSSH directory:

plink -v <username>@<hostname> -P 22 "uname -sr"

Now try connecting with Spotlight on Oracle.
