Too many alarms are being produced, why? -

User is seeing too many alarms from Spotlight, even though the database is not having any abnormal activity. -
原因
The initial calibration period was too short, meaning Spotlight did not calibrate an accurate picture of "normal" database activity. Instead, it calibrated a relatively quiet period of database activity and subsequently any activity above this would cause alarms. -
解决办法
Re-calibrate using File | Calibration and make sure the calibration period is sufficiently long to include as much normal activity as possible (including any regular scheduled backup procedures or overnight batch processing).
