Resolution:
For Kafka target, we do not have any SharePlex internal tables that control SharePlex Kafka target replication in the target side, therefore, to cleanup Kafka target, you just need to run clean_vardir.sh under $SP_SYS_PRODDIR/bin directory after successfully shutdown SharePlex on the Target.
It just like running clean_vardir.sh for Oracle target, we remove all queue files under $SP_SYS_VARDIR/rim directory and empty the $SP_SYS_VARDIR/state directory. But it will not clean up anything for target configuration information. If any post queue from the previous activation no longer exists in the new activation and one wants to remove the target configuration information for the obsolete post queue, it can be done by manually resetting or commenting out the information for the queue in x.kafka.target_config.yaml file under $SP_SYS_VARDIR/data directory.
Note: Not removing the obsolete post queue information from target configuration file will not causes any issue in SharePlex replication, but you will see these obsolete post queue details in the target configuration from "target x.kafka show" command.
