Can the Forest Recovery project be created with just a subset of the DCs? -

Are there any pros or cons to having an FR project with a subset of DCs? -
解决办法
During a forest or domain recovery, the DCs that are recovered are isolated from the other DCs to prevent any possible corruption from replicating. If all of the DCs in a forest or domain need to be operational, the all of the DCs have to be included in the FR project and have one of the following recoveyr methods used:
- Restore from backup
- Reinstall Active Directory
If all of the DCs do not need to be operational, they should still be included in the project and have one of the following recovery methods used:
- Uninstall Active Directory
- Do not recover
Note: If the Do not recover method is used, the DC will be completely removed from the domain, including the metadata. If you select Do not recover for all DCs in a domain, the entire domain will be removed from the forest.
