Forest Recovery Console error: "A logon request contained an invalid logon type value"

FR project is configured to preform a Restore Active Directory on Clean OS restoration. The target machines are not domain joined and the project is using a local account that is a member of the Local Administrators group on the target machines. There is no FR agent installed on the target machines. 

If you try push the FR agent out from the FR Console manually (Tools | Manage | Forest Recover Agent or DCs...) or by running a Validate Settings, you get the error:

"An unknown error occurred. A logon request contained an invalid logon type value"

If you try to access \\servername\c$ or \\servername\admin$ you get a similar error or an Access Denied error.

Remote User Account Control is enabled and preventing the account from running in an elevated mode from a network connection.

Disable Remote UAC on the target servers:

1. Open regedit
2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
3. Create a new DWORD named LocalAccountTokenFilterPolicy and set the value to 1
4. Reboot the server
