"Unknown Stored Procedure" for ApplicatonIntent=ReadIOnly replica (4250049)

Performance Analysis (PA) is unable to provide the object names for the stored procedures that are being executed on a read-intent replica (AlwaysOn with ApplicationIntent=ReadOnly). It says "Unknown Stored Procedure" and grouped ALL stored procedure executions into it. The primary replica looks good.

Does PA support the read-intent replica option in SQL Server 2012 AlwaysOn feature?

PA supports the read-intent replica option since version 7.0.448. Please upgrade to that version.

If there are still problems getting TSQL Batches data please follow the steps below:

1. Please backup the file below first and edit it then:
   On the middleware host:
   \Program Files\Quest Software\pa_agent\3566\agents\SC_MSSQL\7.0\<HOST-NSTANCE>\quest_sc_mw\config\quest_sc_mw.cfg
   
   Note: When editing use a simple editor such as Notepad. Using editors such as Wordpad or Word can introduce additional markup characters and possibly corrupt the file.
   
2. Current line is:
   <db application_intent="" database="master" db_connection="dbc_DB_AUTHENTICATION" enc_type="new" extra_info1="00007FFEBB957600" extra_info2="192.168.0.0" pass="dabb1e0a4ec46814gh4a4319ded416cf" port="0" sid="DEFAULT_INSTANCE" use_old_driver_first="" user="PA"/>
   
   Modify this to:
   <db application_intent="ReadOnly" database="master" ..............>
   
   The keyword application_intent is the added entry. Save the changes.
   
3. Restart the PA agent services on the middleware host and monitored host. The "Dictionary Refresh Services" script will kick in after agent restart.

Note:

The previously captured "Unknown Stored Procedure" items will not change in history. Only for the future time period, after implementing the above solution, the TSQL batches names will be seen correctly.
