Account migration failing with "The role assigned to application b58728b1-0960-4f78-96d6-1a4063d1701a isn't supported in this scenario." (4375927)

Performing an On Demand Migration (ODM) Account Discover or Migration fails with the following error message:

The role assigned to application <<GUID>> isn't supported in this scenario. Please check online documentation for assigning correct Directory Roles to Azure AD Application for EXO App-Only Authentication., Tenant : tenant.onmicrosoft.com

WORKAROUND:

Add the Quest On Demand - Migration - Basic application to the Exchange Administrator role in Entra ID.

1. Log in to the Microsoft Entra admin center https://entra.microsoft.com/
2. In the left navigation pane click Roles & admins (Click show more if it isn't listed)
3. On the Roles & admins page, search for the Exchange Administrator role and click Exchange Administrator.
4. On the Active Assignments tab, click Add assignments and .
5. Depending on the consents performed add the Enterprise Application (Quest On Demand - Migration - Basic - Full or Quest On Demand - Migration - Basic - Minimal) and click Select.
