Update GCC/GCCH tenant object's RID value for ReACL
说明
On Demand Migration for Active Directory uses ObjectSIDs to complete ReACL and profile switching during device migration. When migrating devices to or from Entra ID, ReACL also requires the Relative Identifier (RID) used in the ObjectSIDs for the tenant. In commercial tenants, the RID is always the number “1” and no additional configuration is required in On Demand Migration for Active Directory for those tenants. However, objects residing in GCC/GCCH tenants will have different RID values in the ObjectSIDs, and this value can be different for each GCC/GCCH tenant.
解决办法
To ensure successful ReACL and profile switching, please follow the below instructions to obtain the RID value for your tenant and provide this to Support so we can update the value in On Demand Migration for Active Directory.
Log into an Entra-joined device using a cloud-only account in the GCC/GCCH tenant
Open a Command Prompt
Run "whoami /user"
Note the number value between the third and fourth dash '-' of the SID; this is the RID value
Provide the number to Quest Support along with your OrganizationID and the name of the Cloud environment configured in On Demand Migration for Active Directory associated with the tenant.
