SharePoint skipping private channel migration.

Error:
Customer was provisioning Teams and he was getting the following error - Matching of site 'x' was skipped. - It also showing the following error - Matching of site 'x' was skipped. Migration of sites based on site template type 'Team channel' is not supported.

He was getting this error on a few Teams collections that he was using for provisioning Teams. All of his Teams were created using the same method. 

The problem arises when the customer runs Discover Sites from SharePoint first, causing Private and Shared channel sites to be marked as Unsupported because migrating these sites outside the context of Teams was deemed problematic.

Running Teams Provision after the Discovery phase does not reset the status of Private and Shared channels to Supported.

The solution is to delete the sites from the ODMSP grid.

1. Remove the private channel site from ODM-SP, including all associated Webs, Members, and Lists.
2. Delete the Team in ODM Teams.
3. Rediscover the team.
4. Provision the team using the Merge option.
5. The site should now appear as supported in ODM-SP, allowing you to proceed with file migration.
