EMWProf fails to update the profile, with errors upon connecting to the Exchange server such as the following:

It is possible to connect to both the source and target Exchange servers from the client machine under the same security context as EMWProf is running when using both MFCMAPI and Outlook, but these programs prompt for credentials before granting access.
The credentials being used are in the target domain, but the source domain account is still active and the Associated External Account (AEA) permissions are not set for the target account.
Either run CPUU using an account which has full permissions across both source and target mailboxes, such as the service account, or disable the users source account and apply AEA permissions for the target account.
Source accounts can be disabled and AEA permissions applied automatically using account migration sessions with the option to disable the source accounts selected.
