Log files grow beyond configured archiving limit for Migration Manager legacy Agents. This article does not apply to MAGE.
1. Please disengage using any third party tool that may have a lock on the log file which prevents archiving. Antivirus may also create similar file locks on the logs. Ensure they have been excluded from real-time Antivirus scans.
2. Disable extended logging on the corresponding agent as this is only required to be set on the temporary basis for troubleshooting purposes. To disable extended logging follow these steps:
-Extend the Source or Target Exchange Organization exposing the proper Exchange server
-Right Click the server name and select Properties,
-Click Mail Agent, or whatever agent is affected,
-Click Logging,
-Uncheck Extended Logging,
-Click OK.
