Messages are not seemlessly reconstructed in Outlook. Message: "This message has been archived. Please click here to view the message". The message is then opened through the Archive Manager website
Alternative the Outlook just crashed with out any way to prevent it.
Possible causes of this is the presence of an Anti-virus plug-in for Microsoft Outlook interfering with Archive Manager Outlook form or possible issues with the local copy of the form itself. Also could be some filtering performed by the customer antivirus in the affected machine or server.
There are two possible resolutions to this problem:
RESOLUTION 1:
Disable any installed Outlook antivirus plug-ins.
Temporary disable the Antivirus in Server and Affected PC and perform the test.
RESOLUTION 2:
Clear the Outlook forms cache and allow the form in the forms library to be automatically re-installed.
1. From within Outlook choose 'Clear Cache' in Forms Manager.
2. Remove the 'AfterMail' form from Personal Forms, keep only the Organizational Forms copy
3. Close Outlook and delete 'frmcache.dat' from C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\FORMS then restart Outlook
