After upgrading from 6.4.x to 7.0.121306 (or any version since and until this is resolved), on a multi-org box where the organization both existed prior to the upgrade and used a role other than the Default Role, it is no longer possible to view or edit location assets. When logging in as the local admin user and going to Assets, it is noted that there is no Location option under Asset Types as expected.

Note: This can also be caused by user role permissions if viewing from a user that may not have the default administrator role. If testing from the default admin user (who cannot be changed from the default administrator role), this eliminates possible user role issues and confirms that the SMA is experiencing this issue.
To work-around this situation and allowing viewing and editing of the location assets, please complete the following:
Next it is necessary to apply the newly created role to the affected ORG or ORG(s):
Note: It is necessary to repeat this process for any affected ORGs. It is possible to create as many different custom roles as desired, but in order to work-around this situation, they should first be duplicated from the Default Role.
