Error received in the SA_DateTimeStamp.FLOG log file when running a Storage Analysis:
"<E> <72c> Error: Set Data Set Run Record failed: DB Write Failed : (0x800706bf) The remote procedure call failed and did not execute."
The Consolidator/Quest Storage Suite Services have become unregistered.
RESOLUTION 1
Reinstall the Consolidator/Quest Storage Suite from the Add/Remove Programs.
NOTE: This action does not remove the database.
RESOLUTION 2
1. Via the command prompt, navigate to "C:\Program Files\Quest Software\Quest Storage Suite"
2. Run the following commands, each command should return to the prompt with no errors:
CDAC.exe -REGSERVER
CDAC.exe -SERVICE
SchSvr.exe -REGSERVER
SchSvr.exe -SERVICE
ConsolidatorManagementService.exe -REGSERVER
ConsolidatorManagementService.exe -SERVICE
3. Close the command prompt and open the Services Applet.
4. Change the "Log On" account for the following Services, to a User that has Local Administrative Access (that is a member of Domain) and Administrative Access to the Database Server.
Quest Consolidator Management
Quest Data Access Service
Quest Scheduler Service
5. Once all three Service "Log On" accounts have been reset, restart the three Services.
6. Launch Quest Storage Suite and attempt to run the existing job.
