When it is noted that the Operating System installed date changes, the SMA is programmed to remove all of the past patching results. This is intended behavior, as when the asset is connected to the new device, the old patching data will no longer be relevant due to the Operating System reinstall.
At this time, it appears that time changes on the agent could change the operating system installed date, which would clear patching data.
Prerequisite: Ensure that asset history is retained
Note: Paying close attention to the VALUE1 and VALUE2 fields, take note of the OS_INSTALLED_DATE before and after. Note if the time changed due to a reinstall or if the timezone (UTC offset) is all that changed.
