Add App to Device
- Select the Devices tab in top navigation.
- Select one or more device names from the list.
- In the right panel, choose Apps.
- The default list will show all apps currently on the selected device or devices.
- The list can be sorted to show only KACE-managed apps.
- To add an app, click Add New.
There are three ways to add new apps:
Choose from App Library
- Select one or more apps from the App Library list.
- Click Install on Device.
Upload from System
- Click Upload.
- Browse or drag and drop App Package Files.
- Click Upload and Install on Device.
Import from Store
- Click Import from Store.
- Search for apps by keyword or store URL.
- Select one or more apps.
- Click Import and Install on Device.
* Both free App Store apps and enterprise apps are supported for iOS devices. App management for Android is not currently supported.
* The auto deploy option is a helpful automation tool for device admins. To ensure an account or app is automatically deployed to all devices enrolled in the future, check this box during the set-up process.
Request removal of App from Device
- Select the Devices tab in top navigation.
- Select one or more devices from the list.
- Select Apps in the right panel.
- Select one or more apps to remove.
- Click Remove, then Confirm.
Note: Only Managed Apps (apps that KACE Cloud has installed) can be removed from device.
Add New App to Library
- Select the Libraries tab in top navigation.
- Select Apps in left navigation.
- Click Add New.
There are two ways to access new apps:
Upload from System
- Click Upload in top navigation.
- Browse or drag and drop App Package Files.
- Click Add.
Import from Store
- Click Import from Store in top navigation.
- Search for apps by keyword or store URL.
- Select one or more apps.
- Click Add.
Remove App(s) from Library
- Select the Libraries tab in top navigation.
- Select Apps in left navigation.
- Select one or more apps from the library list.
- Click Remove, then Confirm.
* This action will remove apps from the library, but the apps will remain installed on any device where they were previously deployed.
View Devices with Specific App Installed
- Select the Libraries tab in top navigation.
- Select Apps in left navigation.
- Select an app from the library list.
- In the right panel, click View Devices.
