Error "Failed to collect event log. ADC Error: Most likely the gathering job was not scheduled or event caching was not fully activated" (4257019)

Error received when trying to gather on a Windows server using an InTrust Agent.

Failed to collect event log. ADC Error: Most likely the gathering job was not scheduled or event caching was not fully activated. Please schedule the task that includes the gathering job and try again.

or

Errors encountered at data collection. ADC Error: Failed to collect from network object. (Internal error: Failed to enumerate event logs. (ADC Error: Data source is disabled to logging.))

The job has not been scheduled (which will activate the caching) or there exists event log data sources on the gathering policy which are not present on the Agent machine.

1. Ensure the job is scheduled and allow it to run on the schedule, for the first run set the schedule to 10 minutes in the past.
2. Ensure all the data sources included on the gathering policy in question exist on the Agent machine.
3. Ensure the 'Quest InTrust Real-Time Monitoring Server' service is in the running state on the InTrust server.

Thi may also be due to the gathering policy having some corrurpted (unknown) data source. Please see attach picture for example. In that case remove the unknown data source or recreate the gathering policy.
