The GPOAdmin client connects to the GPOAdmin server on the default port of 40200. In addition, the client needs to be able to connect to the DCs in the domain where the GPOAdmin server resides on ports 88, 389 and 445
The GPOAdmin server needs to be able to connect to the DCs in each domain it manages on ports 88, 135, 389, 445, 464 and the RPC Dynamic Ports.
If you are using SQL Server for the Configuration Store or the GPO Backup store, the GPOAdmin server needs to be able to access the SQL port, default is 1433.
If you are using a Network share for the GPO Backup Store, the GPOAdmin server needs to be able to access ports 135, 138, 139 and 445 on the server where the share is hosted.
If you are using AD LDS for the Configuration Store, the GPOAdmin server needs to be able to access either port 50000 (default AD LDS port if AD LDS instance is hosted on a DC) or port 389 on the AD LDS server.
