In Foglight 5.9.5 a 404 error is reported when attempting to download components using a URL (4253608)

Defect FGL-20254 is associated with this issue.

WORKAROUND:  

The foglight-wcf.jar and the web.xml files in the attached file (webXml_and_wcfJar.zip) provide a workaround.  

Following are the steps to apply the workaround:

1).  Stop the 5.9.5 FMS

2).  Backup the foglight-wcf.jar file to a different directory.  It can be found in the following location:

   <FMSHOME>/server/web/console.war/WEB-INF/lib/foglight-wcf.jar

3). Replace the <FMSHOME>/server/web/console.war/WEB-INF/lib/foglight-wcf.jar file with the foglight-wcf.jar file in the webXml_and_wcfJar.zip file.

4).  Backup the web.xml file to a different directory.  It can be found in the following location:

   <FMSHOME>/server/web/console.war/WEB-INF/web.xml

5).  Replace the <FMSHOME>/server/web/console.war/WEB-INF/web.xml with the web.xml file in the webXml_and_wcfJar.zip file.

6).  Start the FMS.

7).  Test the following URL.  It should work after executing the steps above.

   http://<host>:<port>/console/installer/download-installer.action?downloadId=<file_name>


STATUS:  This issue was logged as defect FGL-20254 and has been fixed in the 5.9.7 and higher releases of the FMS.
