Usernames more than 32 characters are not supported in PostgreSQL PI. A message similar to the following appears in the repository agent log
Caused by: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The given value of type VARCHAR(45) from the data source cannot be converted to type varchar(32) of the specified target column username.
The database username is longer than 32 characters which is the maximum that PI supports.

Contact Support for hotfix HFIX-506 for this issue
STATUS
This issue has been logged as defect FOG-9965 and will be fixed in a future release of the PostgreSQL PI cartridge.
