When “Run As Administrator” box is checked in an Application Launcher element, the desired results are not seen on the workstation. When the box is NOT checked, then the script runs.
Garbled output might be observed in the SLTrace.htm file.
When Desktop Authority is installed, the person installing DA provided two credentials: “Domain Administrator” (ex. SLAdmin account) and “Domain User” (ex. SLUser account). If the Domain User is also a member of a group with network administration privileges under a different login ID, the Microsoft Windows network will become confused over which credential is being invoked.
Open Active Directory and edit the properties of the Domain User account. Remove any group membership other than “Domain Users”. Verify that the Domain Administrator account used in Desktop Authority is a member of the “Domain Admins” group, and that the “Domain Admins” group is indeed shown as local Administrators on the target workstations.
