If you ever find that the controls in ControlPoint are not working here are a couple things that can be reviewed to ensure ControlPoint works correctly:
Internet Explorer
The following Settings need to be updated for the page to be rendered correctly, please ensure that the below Security Settings are selected for the security zone being used by ControlPoint:
ActiveX Controls and Plug-ins | Binary and Script Behaviors | Enable
Scripting | Active Scripting | Enable
Additionally, the ControlPoint site should be added to the list of Compatibility View sites for Internet Explorer.
If this does not resolve the issue you can also review the Developer tools to see what errors are happening when loading scripts.
Look into the Network Tab in Developer Tools to see exactly what the error is.
HTTP 401: Please check the Alternate Access Mapping in SharePoint Central Administration and make sure they can resolve correctly
HTTP 404: This means that there is some contents not found, check IIS and make sure that the ControlPoint Site exists and that the App Pool permission is able to see the files.
Please run a repair installation from ControlPoint Configuration Wizard found on the Desktop of the Web Front End where you installed the product. This will re-deploy the ControlPoint Solution with all the scripts and controls that come with the product. If the issue persists, you can reach out to the Support Team: support@quest.com
