Does Collaboration Services Synchronize changes in Real-Time?

Collaboration Services Does not Synchronize changes in Real-Time. Published objects are scanned for changes. These changes are transmitted to the subscribing forest via smtp messages. In the subscribing end stub objects have changes applied on a regular interval.

By Default published objects are rescanned for changes every 15 minutes, Objects on the subscribing end are updated with accumulated changes by default every 1 hour.
