WORKAROUND
Administrators can bypass the SSL requirement for the credential check by setting the Agent computer account as an administrator in NetApp:
To add a new account to a NetApp filer’s local Administrators group:
- Open Active Directory Users and Computers MMC snap-in.
- Select the domain where the NetApp filer is located.
- Select Computers from the tree and then select the filer from the list in the right pane. By default, the computer name is the same as the filer name. The actual container and the computer names are configured during CIFS setup on the filer.
- Right-click the filer and click Manage. The Computer Management console opens.
- Select System Tools | Local Users and Groups | Groups.
- Double-click the Administrators group on the right.
- Click Add to add an account to the Administrators group.
- Locate and add the computer account that has the Change Auditor agent installed.
Please note: The credentials field must be empty, otherwise Change Auditor will try to use those credentials as a check and fail.
STATUS
Enhancement request number TF00612284 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Change Auditor.
As per the latest update from Product team, this will not be implemented in Change Auditor.
