Coordinator service fails to start due to duplicate ports detected -
说明
Under rare situation, the coordinator service fails to start due to duplicate ports detected warning.
[WARN][ChangeAuditor.Service.Service.OnStartImpl(0)] Duplicate Ports Detected! -
原因
The Client and Public API ports may have assigned themselves the same port which prevents coordinator from starting or duplicate ports have been defined in the Coordinator configuration. -
解决办法
This issue should be resolved with any of the following solutions:
SOLUTION 1:
- Open the Coordinator Status screen via the coordinator tray icon and take a note or screenshot of your Installation name and SQL Server database information.
- Uninstall the Change Auditor coordinator component from Control Panel > Programs and Features.
- Reboot the server.
- Reinstall the Change Auditor Coordinator component again by using the MSI package and the information collected in Step 1.
- The Coordinator service should now start up after completing the Setup wizard successfully.
SOLUTION 2:
Update one of the conflicting ports via the Change Auditor Coordinator Configuration Tool via the coordinator tray icon to allow the coordinator to start (default should be all the ports set to 0). If the ports are set to 0 already, there could be a conflict with the Service Connection Point (SCP) in AD. Manually remove and allow the Coordinator Service to recreate them as follows:
