After upgrading an ON PREMISE Notes Migrator installation from 20.12 to 20.13, you get an Autodiscover failure. Even with migrations that you have previously migrated or run before.
When doing the upgrade, it is necessary to upgrade the Notes Migrator database design as well along with updating the backend engine.
A notes template is made from the Note Migrator.nsf database and the design of your Notes Migrator database is replaced with that design.
Then a migration is performed with an existing migration profile of someone who has already been migrated and then you receive an Autodiscover Failure.
In looking at the verbose log, you see this in the log.’
@ 13:35:35 Entering FindDestinationMessageStoreModernAuth()
@ 13:35:35 Using Modern Auth Pre-configured profile: Migrate
! 13:35:35 Error: No Autodiscovered values
! 13:35:35 Error: Failure reading AutoDiscover values for Message Stores.
@ 13:35:35 Entering BTExchangeMapi::UnInitialize
@ 13:35:35 Exiting BTExchangeMapi::UnInitialize
There is no setting to choose Modern Authentication in a Notes Migrator ON PREM database design. Modern Authentication if only for Office 365. So how can this be so?
One just needs to resave their older migration profiles from their previous release after the upgrade to 20.13 or recreate brand new profiles after upgrading to 20.13
