Toad for SQL Server 6.5 installation wizard asks for .NET 4.5 version when installing. -
Cause
Unknown.
The .NET version is dependent on the operating system.
.NET 4.0 is required for Windows XP, Windows Vista (SP1 or earlier) and Windows Server 2003 .
Note that the .NET Framework 4 Client Profile is not supported.
The installer should not ask for the .NET 4.5 version.For more information about the.Net requirements please check the Release Notes.

WORKAROUNDPerform a silent installation.
To do this please follow the steps below:1) Open a command prompt
2) Go to the folder where the installer is
3) Type "name of the installer.exe"/extract
4) Follow the wizard in order to install the software
