Failure Audit Error 560 when Toad checks server status -
Description
When I start TOAD up and as it tries to connect to sql server's because connection is "registered" windows is giving the following error:
"Event Type: Failure Audit
Event Source: Security
Event Category: Object Access
Event ID: 560"This happens throughout the day regardless of whether I'm connected or not. This does not occur in SSMS

Cause
Option Tools | Options | Database | General | 'Poll Service status in connection list' is checked by default and polls servers in the connection list every 60 seconds

Uncheck Tools | Options | Database | General | 'Poll Service status in connection list'
