Toad crashes (when asking for a query plan) -
Description
Toad crashes after a few minutes of use. There appears to be a pattern: the crash frequently (though not always) occurs when attempting to generate a query plan. When this happens, the application stalls for a few seconds before ultimately crashing.

Resolution
Select the Toad for Oracle desktop icon ,R-click and select Run as Administrator.
Please try this even though you are already an admin user.
