Access violation after using Search | Find option -
Description
Getting an "Access violation at address 0041611D in module 'TOAD.exe'. Read of address 00000000" after doing a find operation(Search | Find Option).
After the Access violation another error occurs: "Invalid email".
Then it is necessary to kill Toad to exit. -
Cause
The Toad.ini file is corrupted

Resolution
WORKAROUND
1] Exit Toad
2] Locate the Toad.ini file within the Toad home directory (C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\9.7\)
3] Open the Toad.ini file and look for the parameter FindDialogMRU
4] Delete this entry , save the file and re test the issue
